YouTube's co-founder Mr. Chad Hurley addressed the World Economic Forum in Davos and told that YouTube is planning to share advertising revenue with the people who contribute video content to the site. And this good move is expected to get started this year.
This revenue sharing offer would apply to people who own the full copyright of the videos that they are uploading to the YouTube website. The Financial Times cited that Mr. Hurley said it was working on technology that would identify copyrighted video content, and implementing “audio-fingerprinting” to ensure music companies are paid for use of their songs in YouTube clips.
Other Video sharing sites expected to experience a huge hit from YouTube's move of sharing ad-revenue. This move will also motivate the video makers to make better videos in the hope of cashing their work. Overall, the YouTube users gonna have a good time in watching worthy stuff!!!
